Any information I hold about you will be protected in the following ways:
Phone number and email addresses will be deleted when you stop using my services. I will never contact you through social media. Any correspondence we may have through texts or emails will be deleted on a monthly basis.

All client or supervision records are held in written form in hard copy only. Handwritten notes are identified in code (first name or initial letters) and stored separately from any email details. Both forms of data are locked in separate cabinets to which I am the only person with access. These notes will be destroyed 2 years after all counselling or supervision has ended.

No data is passed onto a third party unless for legal or safeguarding reasons - in which case prior consent by you will always be obtained.

All records pertaining to payment of my services are similarly protected and only kept in written format in hard copy. I am obliged legally to hold these details for tax purposes but again these details will be destroyed after the obligatory period of time.

Formal Complaints Procedure:

If for any reason you wish to make a formal complaint against me or my private practice please contact me immediately by email, text or phone call.  I will contact you within 5-30 working days and will attempt to settle any dispute or issue pertaining to my practice. In the event the complaint cannot be settled, then I will inform the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) who will act as a third party to help settle the complaint.


If you have any concerns then please talk to me during sessions or contact me as soon as possible.
